Located in arid and windy Othello, Washington, the hospital board required that the landscape be water efficient, easy to maintain, and above all durable. Special care was taken in plant selection and material use to ensure we met these goals.
Project Details:
- Use of subsurface water distribution (Netafim) for irrigation
- Xeriscape plant palette
- Several pondless water features
- Rock mulch to combat wind
- Use of columnar basalt to retain grade and create features
